2getthere’s manuals contain a complete and detailed description of the Automated People Mover System and its’ functionality. Each manual is application specific and essential as reference and learning tool. The manuals are used during the training provided to operators. It is essential that operators learn to work with the manuals and the described procedures in order to optimize operations.
The vehicle operational manual is essential for the operators of the system. It contains instructions regarding visual inspections of the vehicles and small maintenance. Furthermore it provides I/O lists, technology overviews and wiring schedules. It also contains a comprehensive instruction on ‘what to do’ in case of specific system alerts.
The supervisor operation manual contains a general description of the functionalities of the system (theory textbook) as well as application specific sections (operation textbook, reference manual and procedures). The manual can be used as reference for experienced operators or as a learning tool for operators wanting to become more familiar with the system.
