Description

As a Service Engineer for our delivered automated transit systems (ATS), you play a crucial role in the Operations & Maintenance team. You are involved in all O&M related tasks, including but not limited to (preventive) maintenance at all application integration levels, interacting will all components involved in the ATS we deliver. You are responsible for the planning and implementation of maintenance tasks and coordinate with our development and test teams. In addition, you are responsible for all support tasks to keep O&M running smoothly long term, keeping system performance to the required KPIs as well as keeping the customer satisfied with our service and support. You advise the customer and report on how they can optimize and maintain the performance of their system and repair the system according to contractual agreements. During the after sales operational phase with the customer, you also prove to be a true ambassador.

 

Responsibilities

  • Planning and executing of the O&M activities, especially all mechanical vehicle maintenance of our Autonomous Shuttles
  • Support in maintaining wayside infrastructure related to the ATS
  • Execute support tasks to keep O&M running smoothly, including purchasing and logistics of spare parts and/or wear & tear parts, and inventory management
  • Issue reporting and handling, coordinating with development and test teams
  • Prepare and execute different levels of testing after implementing changes and updates (hard- and software regression testing)
  • Draft (product) improvement proposals for internal review; look at disaster analyses, tips and requirements and test the product
  • Support the development of the O&M Department and bring your ideas on how we can improve our maintenance concept (how to use tools more efficiently, how to automatically read error codes).
  • Participate in the V&V team, if necessary.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and third party service providers

Your profile

  • MBO 3 / 4 (vocational college or equivalent), preferably in the field of mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar.
  • Minimal 2-4 years of relevant working experience
  • Experience with automotive mechanics and maintenance of passenger car, truck or bus maintenance and repair
  • You have a passion for technology, are solution-oriented, work well together and enjoy learning from others.
  • You are hands-on and service-oriented with an independent self starting mentality
  • Preferably certified in ISO9140 (electrical car/bus) and ISO3140/1010 (electrical systems)
  • Flexibility when it comes to working hours
  • Solid Dutch language skills and proficient in English
