Description
As a Service Engineer you carry out crucial activities in the scope of the Operations, Maintenance and Support of delivered Automated Transit Systems (ATS). This includes all O&M related tasks, including but not limited to executing preventive and corrective maintenance at all application integration levels, interacting will all components involved in the ATS we deliver.
Also all support tasks to keep O&M running smoothly for the long term keeping system performance to the required KPIs as well as keeping the customer satisfied with our service and support of the ATS.
Due to the critical and broad scope, you will work closely with Product Developers and other departments such as System Engineering and Project Management. Collaboration, communication, expectation management and teamwork are essential skills to succeed in this fascinating role.
Your tasks
- Planning and executing of the O&M activities including:
- Support Operational Start-up and Handover from Project to Operations
- Review Maintenance Manuals / Processes / Procedures / Safety Cases
- Manage on-site (safety) audits
- Support maturing and development of the O&M Department
- O&M on-site operation
- Processes and procedures
- Safety / HSE
- Documenting Lessons Learned and follow up
- Manage and implement Tool Chain / Tools and Equipment
- Operations & Maintenance
- Executing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks as described in the O&M Plan and the various maintenance manuals referred to herein
- Maintain O&M relevant documentation and manuals
- Maintain customer contact, regular progress / quality meetings, etc.
- Calibration and finetuning / testing of Collision Avoidance systems for the AD Systems / Finetuning Layout / Monitor (False) Positives
- Preparation, execution and reporting of different levels of testing after implementing changes and updates (hard- and software regression testing).
- Reporting and solving any issues that arise, in cooperation with development teams of 2getthere
- Inspection, repairing and replacing maintenance Tools and Equipment
- Execute O&M Supportive tasks to keep Operations and Maintenance run smoothly
- Coordinate with suppliers and third party service providers
Your profile
- Master’s Degree in automotive-, mechanical-, electrical- , control systems engineering, computer science, mechatronics, industrial automation or related fields
- Minimal 2-5 years of relevant working experience
- Experience with automotive mechanics / maintenance
- Experience with working and testing (preferably according to the ISO26262 standard (Road Vehicles – Functional Safety) and the ISO/PAS 21448:2019 (SOTIF))
- Experience with ADAS systems
- Experience with Linux OS (Ubuntu)
- Programming and scripting experience (Python, Bash)
- Experience with JIRA & Confluence
Desired certifications
- VCA Basis or VCA Vol
- NEN-1010 / NEN-3140
- NEN-9140
- Understanding of Arbobesluit article 3.16 / 7.23 in regard to working at heights
- BHV or equivalent to ensure proper action in case of an emergency
- ISO26262 standard (Road Vehicles – Functional Safety)
- ISO/PAS 21448:2019 (SOTIF)
