Description

The Forces team at 2getthere is at the core of our autonomous driving technology. We develop advanced AD software for segregated lane applications and with over a million passengers transported worldwide since 2004, we ensure our software drives vehicle intelligence, safety, and efficiency.

As part of the team, you’ll be joining a growing team of engineers dedicated to advancing our autonomous vehicle technology. You’ll collaborate with project management, safety, testing and system engineering teams.

Our software is a critical component of our vehicles, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient autonomous operation. From day one, you’ll take on the challenge of mastering our existing segregated lane software and applying your expertise to shape new applications in the autonomous driving space.

 

Your tasks

• Develop C++ software for real-time vehicle control and perception
• Design and optimize vehicle interfaces to ensure seamless integration
• Build and run unit, subsystem, integration, and system tests for software
   reliability
• Set up and configure new applications, supporting autonomous vehicle
   development
• Optimize and integrate software for high-end embedded platforms
• Maintain clear and structured documentation
• Train and support junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing

Your profile

• BSc/MSc/PhD in control, software engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in safety-critical software development
• Strong skills in C++, Python, and object-oriented programming
• Proficiency with Git, CMake, Jenkins for version control and CI/CD
• Hands-on expertise with programming on or for Linux
• Fluent in English (written & spoken)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of AD architectures (SEE-THINK-ACT-SAFETY)
• Experience with ISO26262, ISO 21448, UL4600, AUTOSAR, MISRA C++
• Experience with Robot Operating System (ROS)
• Background in automotive software testing.
• Familiarity with vehicle communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet)
• Experience with sensors and actuators in automotive applications
