2getthere realizes automated transit applications, operating on either segregated infrastructures or in dedicated lanes. The systems are based on over 30 years of experience with automated vehicles in different demanding environments. The first applications were Automated Guided Vehicles in warehousing environments indoors, serving as a basis for the development of port applications (ECT container terminal) and eventually automated transit applications.
2getthere is located in Utrecht, the Netherlands. 2getthere Middle East, a joint venture with United Technical Services in the United Arab Emirates, ensure 2getthere can serve its customers locally.

Since March 19th 2019, 2getthere is part of the ZF Group and since has become a wholly owned subsidiary. Experience
2getthere’s first transit system was developed in 1995. Pilot projects were realized at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (1997) and business park Rivium (1999). The extended Rivium system was equipped with 2nd generation GRT vehicles in 2006, and later upgraded to the 3rd generation GRT in 2022. In 2002 the temporary Floriade application was realized, featuring 4-passenger vehicles. The first permanent PRT system, at Masdar City (Abu Dhabi) opened to the general public on November 28th 2010.
Currently the company is engaged in various demonstration projects in the Middle East, North America and Europe. While also tendering for full application projects.
