Contract Extension
2getthere has been awarded the extension of the PRT maintenance & operations contract in Masdar City.
Recently the Masdar City PRT system completed its fifth year of operations. After a record month in November (43.763 passengers), the system carried 37.845 passengers even in December. The system availability for this month was again recorded at 99,97%. Currently 2getthere and Masdar City are researching how to accommodate rising passenger numbers while at the same time improving passenger comfort.
The Masdar PRT operates 18 hours a day, from 06.00hr until midnight, every day. 2getthere provides the operations and maintenance services in co-operation with its partners United Technical Services (UAE) and SMRT (Singapore) .
