Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, awarded Masdar first prize in the category of Mobility Management of the Dubai Award for Sustainable Transportation. Yousef Baselaib, Director of Business Support, and Zuha Moussa, Head of Contracts and Procurement at Masdar received the award.

Masdar City features the world first PRT system, opening for service to the public November 28 2010. Since that time the system has carried over 600,000 passengers while featuring a system availability continuously above 99,4%.
